Where do marine turtles lay their eggs?

Marine turtles lay their eggs on sandy beaches. The females come ashore, and dig a shallow pit to lay their eggs. They then cover the pit and go back into the water. When the eggs hatch, the babies dig their way up and make their way to the water.
